Vi-Jon Laboratories Inc. of St. Louis has volunteered its support to the APA through ongoing donations of its liquid hand sanitizer, germ-X®. “This is a significant gift,” says APA Director of Operations Steve Kaufman. “Most people probably don’t realize that cleaning and sanitizing materials are a large expense item in our shelter. They’re critical to protecting the health of our employees as well as the animals in our care.”
The alcohol-based product has been shown to eliminate 99.9% of common germs and bacteria, and contains moisturizers, a feature that’s appreciated by the APA employees who use it repeatedly during the work day.
